Summer Soccer

Eleven a side tournament played on premium quality full sized soccer All Weather pitch. FIFA rules apart from time. Rolling subs. Qualified referees. Professional quality standard certified pitches.

Game Time: 29 minutes per half

Days: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights

Players: 11 a side. Rolling subs.

Format: Round Robin League - 2 Legs

Panels must be submitted with €100 prior to the start of the competition

GROUPS

Groups will be defined by

1)your finishing position from the previous season (if you have taken part in the previous season)

and/or

2) the players at your disposal (according to their junior league representation if applicable)

Leagues will be played on a group(home and away) basis.

Players can play for one team in each competition.

However, no team can have more than 3 dual competition players.

Players can be signed up until Monday 2nd of July. No further signing will be permitted after that date.

Squad Size

Maximum 22 players per squad.

Minimum players required per squad: 16 "unique" players(i.e. not registered to play in more than one team)

Failure to field a team?

First Offence: Failure to field a team will require your team to pay a fine of €80. This must be paid in advance of any further games being played.

Second Offence: Failure to field a team on two occasions will result in expulsion from the league.

Reentry to the league will be subject to all previous fines and fees being settled in advance and each entry is at the discretion of the league management committee.

Format: Champions League Cup and Plate

Panels must be submitted before 15th May 2013.

PLAYOFF ROUND

All teams entered into one leg play-off match to decide who progressed to the plate or cup.

In the event of a draw, this game will be settled by penalties.

GROUP STAGES

Both competitions will be played on a group(home and away) basis.

Top 4 Teams from each group progress to the quarter finals, semi finals and finals.

Players can play for one team in each competition.

However, no team can have more than 3 dual competition players.

KNOCK OUT STAGES

Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals

No new players are permitted to sign for your side during this phase of play.

Games are played over one leg.

In the event of a draw

The quarter finals will progress directly to a penalty shootout.

Semi final, two halves of 5 minutes extra time will be played followed by penalties.

In the final, two halves of 7 minutes extra time will be played followed by penalties.

Non contact Hurling and Gaelic Football with no experience required. Free demonstration evening. Play first half of the tournament in Hurling and the second half in Gaelic Football. Represent your school for a great prize while having great fun.
